1. There is a high temperature difference between the inner and outer cylinders, requiring expansion devices. This structure tends to develop welding cracks and damage after long-term use.
2. The castable at the expansion device must reserve expansion gaps, and the cylinder at this location experiences concentrated thermal expansion deformation. The castable is prone to falling off and damage, causing erosion and deformation of the cylinder.
3. After long-term use, the insulation material carbonizes. Repairing or replacing the insulation material is difficult, requiring removal of the entire inner cylinder and castable, destruction of the inner cylinder, and remanufacturing, resulting in a long and difficult construction period.
4. The insulation layer at the expansion joint is relatively thin, resulting in poor insulation. The inner cylinder’s annular support flange conducts heat, and due to the above two reasons, a ring-shaped high-temperature zone appears on the outer cylinder.
5. The internal utilization of the cylinder is low. Since production capacity is proportional to the square of the kiln’s effective inner diameter, the output is not high.

3. The entire cylinder expands uniformly , with no concentrated expansion points, avoiding local castable detachment. Also, the thickness of the castable is increased to 120mm, greatly improving the service life of the castable.
4. The insulation layer is set outside the cylinder , so replacing or repairing the insulation does not require disturbing the inner cylinder and castable, and replacement is done from the outside, making construction simple and fast .
5. Insulation construction is carried out on the entire outer side of the cylinder , resulting in better construction effect and better insulation performance.
6. Using heat-exchanged hot air to enter the rotary kiln further increases the equipment’s hourly production capacity.
